Privacy Policy

The policies and terms of the digivey.co.uk websiteWe take your privacy seriously. The following privacy statement covers the Digivey UK web site at www.digivey.co.uk and is intended for visitors from the UK. Other links within this site to other web sites are not covered by this policy.

Information collection and use

Except where information is specifically required when completing software evaluation  application forms, this website does not store or capture personal information but merely logs the user’s IP address, which is automatically recognised by the web server.

This website does not use cookies for collecting user information from the site and we will not collect any information about you except that required for system administration of the web server.

Software Evaluation Requests

The Digivey.co.uk web site collects personally identifiable information when you complete a request form for software evaluation. We will use this information to maintain a list of those companies and individuals who requested software evaluation copies.

We will not sell or rent your personally identifiable information to anyone.

We will send personally identifiable information about you to government departments, companies or people when:

  • We have your consent to share the information;
  • We respond to court orders or other legal processes; or
  • Where we are required by law to provide information to others (e.g. the Inland Revenue)

Please note: We reserve the right to decline a request for free software evaluation if the information provided is false or incomplete.

Summary of terms

Browser

Used to locate and display Web pages via a software application. The most popular ones are Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator.

Cookie

Message given to a web browser by a web-server. The message is then stored by the browser in a text file called cookie.txt. Each time the browser requests a page from the server, this message is sent back. A cookie’s main objective is to identify users and personalise their visit by customising web pages for them for example by welcoming them by name next time they visit the same site. A site using cookies will usually invite you to provide personal information such as your name, e-mail address and interests.

IP (Internet Protocol)

All networks connected to the internet speak IP, the technical standard which allows data to be transmitted between two devices. TCP/IP (Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol) is responsible for making sure messages get from one host to another and that the messages are understood.

If you have any problems with any of the Digivey software products, please contact us as soon as possible. We can help resolve the issue and assist you with any questions. Technical support <30 minutes is free at all times. Technical support >30 minutes may be charged at a modest fee after 6 months since the purchase of the respective software license.

Refund policy

Digivey is classified as software and, as such, not refundable. However, for you to try before you buy, we offer free 15 day evaluation software for eligible enquirers.
